The Challenge

Due to a rapidly growing population and the influx of newcomers in metropolitan areas, the need for affordable housing has never been more prominent. The housing price in the metropolitan areas, and primarily in the big metropolitan areas, is a serious challenge. How can metropolitan areas meet these crucial quantitative and qualitative needs in  sustainable housing policy?

The AEMC-network position

The AEMC points to the importance of affordable housing and of efficient transport, so that workers can organize their commuting time to acceptable levels. This is even more important in certain service sector s where night work is required (such as health care and transport)  or with irregular working hours
